Revolt of the Beavers Activity- All kinds of plays were performed as part of the Federal Theatre Project, including plays for children. Revolt of the Beavers was about a community of beavers who are "forced to work all day for a mean boss who eats ice cream and won't let the beavers have roller skates." Use the print-and-go activity page provided to design a poster for this play.
Living Newspaper Activity- Sometimes instead of a regular play performance, actors in the FTP would act out current events stories from the newspaper. These play styles were called "Living Newspapers" and they were very popular. They were entertaining and educational at the same time. Use the print-and-go activity page provided to make your own Living Newspaper acting game.
